Materials
- Small quilt or wall-hanging, quilted and ready for binding. This should be at least 12" square, and not bigger than a baby quilt. Do not trim the edges of the batting and backing before coming to class.
(Instead of a quilt, students may bring a "cheater's block", batting and backing. This can be quilted by hand or machine, or basted together)
- Bring approximately ½ yd. of 44"-wide fabric for binding.
Class Supplies
- Happy Endings (book available in class)
- Basic Sewing Supplies
- Sewing machine in good working condition
- "Walking foot" for machine if you have one
- Extension cord
- Thread to match binding
- Bobbin full of thread
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Rotary cutter and mat
- 6" x 12" ruler (or larger)
- Straight pins
- Little bag for trash
Before Class:- Wash and iron all fabrics
