Materials
- 12" square of light background fabric (white or off-white solid or printed fabric).
In class we will stitch one design. If you wish to later complete a 30" quilt with four designs, you will need 1 3/8 yds. of background fabric.
- Small pieces (1/8 yd. or fat quarters) printed fabric for applique:
- green
- blue
- pink
- yellow/gold
- purple
- Cut a 1 1/8" x 25" strip of pink fabric for the gathered rose in the center of the design.
Class Supplies
- Baltimore Bouquets (book available in class)
- Thread to match or blend with applique fabrics
- Your favorite applique needles
- Thimble
- Paper scissors
- Fabric scissors
- Straight pins
- Sharp pencil
- 10" square of freezer paper
- Small tweezers
- Little bag for trash
Before Class:
- Wash and iron all fabrics.
- Cut one 12" square from background fabric.
- Cut a 1 1/8" x 25" strip of pink fabric for the gathered rose in the center of the design.
